MISSION
Our mission at Clam Kerala is to enable a sustainable future for fishing communities. We organize and empower local clam fishers by implementing structured sourcing and value-addition initiatives.
We aim to achieve this through

Sourcing
Mobilizing self-help groups (SHGs) among shareholders to facilitate sustainable clam collection and farming.

Training
Offering comprehensive training programs in collaboration with technical experts, focused on eco-friendly collection practices and sustainable cultivation techniques, ensuring the long-term viability of clam resources.

Pre-processing
Utilizing modern tools and machinery to efficiently depurate, clean, boil, and shell clams. Trained personnel will oversee these operations to optimize processing quality and comply with international food safety standards.

Value addition
Employing advanced techniques to produce high-quality clam products, including food-based and shell-based items. Specialized equipment and skilled staff will manage production, packaging, and quality control, enhancing our market competitiveness and value chain.
